Join a private experience for two or more guests and work alongside artisans from Nagaoka Meichiku to build a traditional bamboo fence for a historic temple, shrine, or cultural site in Kyoto. The artisans complete the design before the day; participants begin with the foundation work, then help clean, split, arrange, assemble, and tie the bamboo under direct guidance.
The completed fence is installed at the venue and is expected to remain part of the landscape for approximately five to ten years. This plan is priced by participant, while the separate Kyoto Bamboo Fence Team-Building Project is tailored to corporate objectives and custom project planning.
